We are back for one day only, limited spots are available. Book Now.

Non Traditional Santa Photos

We at Capture & Design get it. Santa can be scary to a young tiny human. So we take our cues from them. Whether they are crying, or just want to stare or actually play with Santa. We capture the experience, the moment and you get the most unique photos in town!  Santa interacts with you or your child. No chair, no stranger to sit on, just pure fun.

This type of session is great for any child of any age, adults too!  Special needs children we got you covered!

You can cram as many people as you would like into one image, and sessions last about 10 minutes. If public health standards change closer to the date, all precautions will be taken & adhered to and posted to this page.

BUT, please note as you can tell by the examples below – you may only see pieces of Santa, his legs, arm or body. This session is about you or your child interacting with the man in red. Not actually sitting on his lap like you would at the mall. This is not your mall Santa Experience.

ONE DAY ONLY! November 26, 2022

All sessions must be booked in advance, no drop in’s allowed.

All sessions:

  • Digital files emailed within 7 business days
  • Printing release is included
  • Sessions must be booked and non refundable/ non transferable retainer must be paid in advance to reserve your space.  If Alberta enters a situation in regards to Covid that does not permit indoor photography sessions your retainer will be refunded in full. 
  • We can not guarantee smiles, we capture what transpires between child, adult & Santa
  • If you wish to wear a mask, please provide your own. Santa will not be in one unless it is Provincially mandated.
  • Hand sanitize stations will be available
  • Please dont bring hoards of people to watch. That just makes the experience very stressful. Keep it to you mom & dad.
  • Background has a Rae Dunn Feel to it but is in true holiday spirit.
  • No pets, as our studio is not pet friendly
  • If you arrive early, please wait outside till the family before you exits the studio
  • If your child becomes sick – we have you covered. in 2020 Santa actually face timed with a child in this situation. A 1:1 private face time call with Santa.

** Please watch our Facebook page for updates in regards to: If indoor photography sessions are not allowed we will reimburse 100% of your retainer. If Santa or our photography team become ill then we would need to cancel & your retainer would be reimbursed 100%. We still live in crazy times so we need to be prepared.

If booking more then one session please include that in your email, if you have lots of kids and want individuals this is where 2 sessions come in handy. But you are paying for 2 sessions. #justsaying

Reservations are booked in chronological order of receiving your form & retainer.

We will be using the dojo space of the Rooke School of Karate located at 9610B Morinville Dr here in Morinville. (the back half of the building of the United Church)
