Non Traditional Santa Photos with a Twist

This year our studio is going to get boxed! We are bringing back the box and the fun that comes with it. It’s been 8 years since we offered this service.  We are still in the planning phase and need some input from you.

There is a google form below that we would appreciate you filling out so we can plan this years sessions. 

The above examples are in a 4×4 foot white box. As you can see adults fit nicely, it’s also pet friendly.   

The other option is in a cardboard box – the only examples I have are on my PINTEREST MOOD board as I am in the process of making that box.  The cardboard box will most likely be slightly smaller at 3×3 feet. If I have more cardboard I can do a more 3×2 foot size for a longer portrait feel. Pet’s welcome as long as there is no marking of territory. 

SANTA will not be present.

He will be photoshopped in post processing.

** This is great for young kids who are afraid of the man in red.

AND we are updating the poses of Santa – so fill out that google form for ideas..

What do you get?

WHITE BOX

  • Minimum 1 Santa ( you can have more if you want)
  • 8 individual shots – you can cram as many people/animals into each one
  • The 9 images will go together for one image that will be sized at 9×9 inches and also put onto a 5×7 card with room for a holiday greeting from your family.
  • You will also receive each individual box in a 4×4 inch file.
  • NO watermarks
  • This session is more prop orientated, I have a few props but you are encouraged to bring more
  • Totally pet friendly as well

CARDBOARD BOX

  • All of the above perks in the white box but you can have more fun with this one . We can adhere wrapping paper to the sides,  lights, hang ornaments, drink wine
  • Because this is cardboard it can have more of a chaos feel to the processed product
  • Pets are welcome just no marking territory. 

 

** If you are keeping your final product digital and want more of a wall paper look with more then 9 images we can do that for an additional $50 in either the white box or cardboard. see the Pinterest mood board for ideas. This would not work for print as it would be an odd size.

When?

We are looking at fall break, that would be the week of November 10-15.  This would be done here in Morinville, inside. We are open to day time sessions & evening during that week.  FILL OUT THE GOOGLE FORM!!  This week could change – with the current Teacher’s Strike fall break may not happen – in that case we would move to a weekend date and it would be a 1 day only event.

PRICE? This is the hard part. 

If we go with the white box, we need 5 confirmed and booked sessions or we can not run this one.

The cardboard box we can run as many as we need.

The white box would be $175

The cardboard box would be $125

This is due to the post processing edits to make the completed image.  And the 5 confirmed with the white box is due to construction costs, building of the box & storage.
